Last night with new soul tune

After two hectic weeks, I'm so relaxed for the first time. Yesterday I just finished my Hospitality Marketing course conducted by master of master Prof. Kaye Chon. I like the course but it's just relieved to be done with it. ;)

First night in two weeks that I thought 'gesssss i got nothing to do!' So I turned on the tv set and kept changing the channel through all 90 channels. That's how I found "Take It Slow" on MNET.

The music video's just plain, nothing interesting, but it's the tune that captured me. See it down here. Auriol Hays from South Africa.

Hed Kandi came to Phuket for the very first time!!!

Hed Kandi

I assume that you all know Hed Kandi, right? They claimed they are "the world's most glamorous music and lifestyle brand." Anyway, it's label from UK producing great house music. One of my favorites aside from Om Records I've blogged about previously. Don't know if they have any other products under the name.

And last night Hed Kandi World Series Tour rocked Phuket island at StereoLab on Surin beach. The venue is cool but nothing compare to the music.

I thought the day before "Which track of Hed Kandi is my favorite?" when I was driving back home from work And I didn't really know. So I was home early that I should just to check all Hed Kandi cds in my possession (and also my boyfriend's) and I found it in Hed Kandi - World Series Live Paris Disc 1.

Here's my favorite Hed Kandi's track way back in 2001: Fade by Solu Music feat. KimBlee. Actually, Solu is another house music label from New York and it's happened to be this track that brought them up to World's house music avenue. And it's perfect summer house, I can tell you.

I like this version mixed by Eric Kupper more. (Not sure if it's in Hed Kandi) The original one is good as well.
